Green Party of Tennessee Draft Minutes: -03/26/2025

Minutes will not be considered official until approved at next month’s meeting. 

1. February meeting minutes: Approved. 
2. Candidate: Zachary Walker- Running for city office in Clarksville; asking for endorsement by the Green Party of TN (Election Nov. 3 2026). Presentation by candidate and discussion among coordinating committee. Voted to table until next meeting (all in favor of tabling). 

1. Treasurer’s report (Jon Roberts): $964.20 cents. Jon says we pay for $552 a year for Nation Builder. 
2. National Committee Delegate Report from Michael Principe.
3. Social Media report: Sally Shelton (Instagram) suggested outreach activities/community support that could be promoted through social media. Desota Walker not present; announced that he is moving out of state but will continue until a replacement is found..
4. Suggestion: Have someone to do graphic designs for GP-TN.
5. Nation Builder Report-918 people listed on Nation Builder. Difficult to weed out those not truly interested in GP-TN. If we pass 1000 people, our rates go up significantly. Need to weed out list (without losing true supporters) and have fundraising letter. Beth Dachowski will work on that but probably not until May or June.
