Minutes will not be considered official until approved at next month’s meeting.

Present: Beth D., Doreen F., Scerick L., Michael P., Jon R., Desota W. (quorum=3)

Standing business:

  • Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes: Approved

  • Treasurer’s Report: $585.98. 1 donation. 1 expenditure for domain email. $14.88. No vote needed for the domain email as this was covered in previous budget discussions.

  • Delegate’s Report: Not much going on except voting for officers (decisions/voting based on competency, not ideology)

  • Social Media Report: Have identified a replacement for Desota who is already on BlueSky and willing to work with Twitter; she has contacted Beth and will be running for at-large delegate at our next annual meeting. Twitter is not growing with social media but holding steady; need more content to look active; for example, Desota covered coverage of Anti-ProudBoys action in KY. Still working out a strategy for growth.

  • NationBuilder Report: 913 members.

Old business:

  • Fundraising items (no action, tabled until next month):

    • QR Code linking to our donate page

    • Flyer design

    • Ideas for local, low-key opportunities to give out leaflets

    • Info on more formal tabling events (maybe a yearly calendar)

    • Fundraising letter

  • Election information (gathering a list of races that will be coming up in the next year or two, qualifying deadlines, etc.): Tabled until next month

  • Planning GP of TN annual meeting (election of officers): Beth will send out an agenda and plan and send out via email. Tasks will include: Choose a date; set agenda; figure out what offices are up for election; any other activities (guest speaker, etc.).

New Business:

  • Speakers for GP-TN events: tabled until next month; will make this part of GP-TN Annual Meeting discussion.

  • 7th Congressional District Special Election: Scerick Longcope has picked up paperwork for TN 7th Congressional District Special Election; Scerick is working with GP’s Coordinated Campaign Committee to get his campaign running.
